I have worked for Tacoma Community College since January of 2010, and was promoted to Program Specialist in January of 2013.I oversee daily operations of the Business Education Center, a tutoring center that offers assistance supplemental to classroom instruction for students taking Accounting, Economics, Math, Computer, and other Business courses at TCC. I work with Administration/ Faculty of the college and oversee a team of tutors to further the effectiveness of our tutoring center and to work together as part of the college's mission: Create Learning, Achieve Equity, Engage Community.Details:• Assist in hiring a staff of 20+ tutors and support staff, and directly oversee employees.• Ensure we maintain excellent Customer Service by scheduling and supervising employees who assist Clients, handling CS needs personally when necessary and appropriate.• Quick Problem Solving as related to Clients' and Employees' needs.• Oversee and delegate experienced employees to lead their peers in weekly training related to their job requirements and Customer Service.
