Over time, I have come to realized that my core motivation is to help people reach their highest potential. I have always invested myself in others, and that is where I have found success. As a recruiter, I have used this passion to make sure that I laid out the best possible scenario to candidates and let them use that information to make the best decision for themselves. I have been successful because I always put people first... the candidate, the hiring manager, the customers, and any other person that is impacted by the hire.I am also passionate about diversity and inclusion. My ultimate goal is to be a Chief Diversity Officer/ VP of Diversity and Inclusion of a corporation, non-profit organization, or higher education institution. Having come from a multi-ethnic/ multicultural environment, and having the opportunity to travel to 10 countries in one semester with college students from around the world has given me a unique perspective that very few others in the world have. I have studied D & I best practices for the past 10 years and continue to gain new information from leaders around the country. I believe that one's ability to grow is dependent upon their ABL-ity (A-lways B-e L-earning!)Along the way, my goals are to break into the Learning and Development field as I have always excelled at training development and facilitation. I also understand where I am not ‘good enough’ to get people where they need to be, so I have used my extensive, national network to supplement trainings so that everyone can move forward! Self-reflection is a major part of who I am and I encourage everyone I work with to do the same. Egos and the lack of humility have too often been the reason that people don’t truly progress or fail unnecessarily. Failure is inevitable and necessary, but not all the time! Let’s grow together!I look forward to connecting!!!kobenacollins@travelerconsultingllc.comStrengths Finder Top Five:RelatorActivatorHarmonyBeliefCommand
