About Kimberly Reese

Stem cell specialist with 10 years of experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology. I am passionate about regenerative medicine and using stem cell technology to enable the clinical use of engineered human cells, tissues and organs.I am currently managing the Cell Production and Process Development team at United Therapeutics’ Organ Manufacturing Group in Manchester NH where we are scaling up and modifying iPSC differentiation protocols to be GMP-compatible. Previously, I worked at the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI) collaborating with member organizations to scale-up, close, and automate tissue/organ engineering protocols for manufacturing. I also worked as a Research Associate at Omega Therapeutics and Fulcrum Therapeutics differentiating stem cells to neural and cardiac lineages to test novel therapeutics for treating rare diseases. I obtained my Master’s in Biology at Plymouth State University studying population genetics and the fibrosis-related effects of single nucleotide polymorphisms in the Connective Tissue Growth Factor (CTGF) gene.
