Born and raised in New York, I am a poet, writer, and aspiring educator floating around the tri-state area. My passions and concentrations focus on writing and editing, specifically on creative writing and spoken word poetry, promoting the arts and related fields with a deep intersectional investment in feminism and social justice. I strive to create spaces of joy and celebration while fighting for liberation for all, looking through the intersectional lenses of gender, sexuality, race, class, ability, and body, utilizing my identities to uplift and educate.I am working towards building a career where I can utilize my passion and background for writing, education, and the arts with my dedication to advocacy/social justice and supporting marginalized communities, focusing on diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and accessibility. My writing has awarded me several publications in various journals, including a nomination for the Best of The Net anthology in 2020. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English and Women's & Gender Studies at SUNY Oneonta, and I am pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at Manhattanville University, where I am also a Graduate Teaching Fellow. I am enthusiastic about all that I’m involved in and thrive on working with people and creating meaningful work. As an experienced administrative professional who has worked in customer service for many years throughout various industries, I understand the importance of being able to support organizations internally and externally on a logistical and foundational level. Currently, I am utilizing my administrative background at Sandeep Diamond Corporation to assist the company's needs, including organizing communications, assisting senior staff, and managing inventory, as well as enhancing company culture by curating internal and external initiatives. My dedication to community allows me to showcase the highest quality of administrative assistance. In my free time, I am reading, writing, and performing—both alone and in community. You can also find me watching Women's Basketball (go New York Liberty!), staying up to date on pop culture and media, and getting excited about food. Throughout anything I do, I make sure to prioritize rest and time with my friends, family, communities, and self.
