Riddle's Legacy Lamb is a solar grazing operation that breeds, raises and sells high quality lamb to restaurants, distributors and end-consumers. RLL is a family operation owned and shepherded by a 5th generation farmer. We humanely and sustainably raise lamb that meets the quality standards of the finest restaurants while providing agricultural and environmental benefits to farm land that has been put under solar panels. As farmers we can help solar companies navigate community opposition as well as make recommendations on their maintenance and stewardship of the land.

As the Head of Product I led a team of people to the successful launch of a SaaS Learning Management Platform specially designed for the delivery of Competency-Based Education programs. The back-end tools developed by this Agile team facilitate the design and curation of content to support the various programs being launched on this platform. The Web and native iOS applications allow Students, Faculty and Administrators the ability to interact at a more personalized level than a traditional higher education program due to in-depth analytics tracked throughout the learner's experience. My focus in this role was to anticipate market demands for the nascent competency-based education business while managing a diverse team of designers, researchers, product managers and developers. Success was accomplished by standardizing product documentation and systems, creating a dependable product roadmap, effectively communicating on operations and advocating for issues that would impact the company's bottom line.

Struggles with scope, delivery and budget posed challenges as I began this role. After developing a standard communication strategy and level setting expectations, I introduced a project management software into the organization and reallocated resources in order to produce a plan that allowed the team to get back on schedule.

Promoted twice during my tenure at Arthrex, I proved my effectiveness as a manager and cross-functional team leader. In addition to building relationships with 700+ top surgeons and sales personnel around the world, I championed for, and then implemented, a redesign of major program processes resulting in a 125% increase in customer interaction events in a one year period. Responsible for the customer experience, and nurturing relationships with surgeons and distributors alike, I subsequently hired and managed two additional employees for the medical event team in order to run up to 60 events held daily at 6 different facilities around the country. Through exemplary leadership and analytical problem solving I built a program that maintained a consistent and positive experience for customers interacting with Arthrex, many for the first time.

This enabled the localized operation of the Children’s Museum to expand their prospect pipeline and garner future donations stretching beyond my short tenure.

Offered a full-time position within 3 months of interning for the Foundation, I went on to lead the Dean’s Annual Fund to 18% growth during the 2008 recession. As a graduate of the Leeds School I connected with donors on a personal level and increased individual donations from first-time donors by 26%. Additionally, I instituted the Young Alumni Leadership Gift which increased donations at the $500+ level from alumni under 30 by 15%.

I brought a new level of professionalism and leadership to this three-man operation by acting as IT, customer service, legal, sales and custodial. I re-designed the Fair’s Premium Book to be user friendly and understandable, leading to the largest number of Exhibitor entries to date. Additionally, I instituted a new method of recording Exhibitor results, enabling participants to receive prize money within 12 hours, thus saving the shoe-string budget over 72% in postage costs. The hard work and willingness to dive in to every aspect of the business garnered a promotion to Assistant Fair Manager by the end of a 3 month period and came with the responsibility of managing a team of temp workers and volunteers hired to put on the 10 day event.
