Her book on ballet pedagogue the late Marion Cuyjet, documents the impact of Cuyjet's Judimar School of Dance on Arts and Dance in 20th Century Philadelphia. She was selected as a Fulbright Specialist Scholar for Teacher Education in Dance, Bandung, Indonesia and her publications address Black Women in American Dance, Black Continuum in American Dance and Dance Pedagogy.
