I am an environmental professional with 7+ years of experience in ecological assessments, project management, and environmental modeling. My background includes a Master's in Environmental Sciences from the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, where I focused on ecohydrological modeling, GIS, and environmental chemistry.Currently, I work as a Programme Officer at the EIACP Centre on Forestry, ICFRE-Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. In this role, I lead initiatives under Mission LiFE and the Swachhta Action Plan, developing value-added information products, conducting outreach, and building capacity in forest-related livelihoods and green skill development. I also design and manage technical events, lectures, and workshops to promote sustainable practices.Previously, as a Project Fellow at the Wildlife Institute of India, I was involved in the Ganga River Basin Project, conducting ecological assessments, setting up interpretation centers, and leading environmental education programs. I have developed conservation modules and facilitated biodiversity workshops, contributing to efforts to protect Ganga's aquatic ecosystems.At CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresources Technology, I worked on high-altitude research, gene bank establishment, and soil analysis for medicinal plant cultivation. My role at CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute focused on air and water quality assessments, including studies on the environmental impact of iron ore mining and stubble burning on air quality.I am proficient in ecohydrological modeling, GIS, R, and data visualization tools such as Canva. My technical skills include analytical techniques like GC-MS, ICP-MS, and spectrophotometry, along with experience in field data collection and environmental sampling.I’ve authored educational resources on Ganga biodiversity and am continuously developing my skills through certifications in biostatistics, QGIS, and sustainability literacy.
