During the 2012-13 academic year, the Kansas City Design Center, in collaboration with Northeast Alliance Together (NEAT) and the KCMO Planning Department, completed an urban vision study of Independence Avenue and the Historic Northeast neighborhood of Kansas City, MO.

I assisted research work in various area studies departments such as the Global Awareness Program, Latin American Studies and Asia Studies departments. Our work involved reviewing student essays produced for these departments and critiquing the work based on a list of parameters adopted by the organization to assess the students' ability to empathize and reflect on their own cultural experiences.

I worked with the overseas business division on US and ROK military projects for the YRP Master Plan. During my internship my primary experience came from a collaborative effort, including several partner firms and led my member of Haenglim, to complete a competition for a Battle Command Training Center. My project duties included constructing Revit models, developing IBC and IFPA code checklists, building study models and developing Sketch Up models.
