I provide responsive and commercial advice on all aspects of employment law. My aim is to make my clients’ lives easier, be that by managing senior hires and exits, advising on employee relations, or drafting documents to protect their interests. I take the time to understand each client’s objectives, which allows me to act as a trusted advisor, whether I am enabling them to operate their “business as usual”, or working with them on a specific project.I have considerable experience advising buyers, sellers and investors on the people side of corporate transactions. I regularly design and implement TUPE, collective redundancy and other consultation programmes, and work hard to ensure any transition is as smooth and painless as possible. While my practice is primarily non-contentious, where necessary I will robustly defend, or prosecute, my clients’ interests. My practice has a strong international flavour, and I am frequently called upon to translate English law concepts for overseas clients and contacts, particularly those in the US and Scandinavia.
