About Kate Raum
I love my job. As Director of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Services based in Houston, I administer large, complex construction arbitration cases in South Texas and neighboring states. I enjoy being a resource for attorneys, arbitrators, and everyone who wants to know more about the construction arbitration process. Before I came to the AAA, I spent 15 years in both the nonprofit and government sectors focused on public affairs and public health strategy and programming. Much of that time was in Tanzania, East Africa. Those years honed my skills in project management, communication, cultural competency, and collaboration. I use these skills every day in my role administering complex cases, where my goal is to provide efficient service while upholding the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
Listed skills include Legal Research, Community Development, Program Development, Non Profits, and 13 others.
