I have come to a crossroads in my successful career in construction. I want to thank Quandel Enterprises for the opportunity to be part of their team. Executive Vice President Quandel Construction that focuses on the construction of large warehouses, healthcare, and senior care throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland. Responsible for the performance of the field operations and provide executive leadership for customer satisfaction for all operations of relative to project execution and growth in this industry.Involved in the healthcare division of Quandel Construction Group providing executive leadership regarding large healthcare projects through out north central Pennsylvania.

Provided executive-level leadership with full P&L accountability in all business activities for a $100M general contractor providing construction management, general construction, and design build services in senior living, higher education, healthcare, and urban repurposing in central PA and Maryland.Directed the company’s strategic course, development, and future growth in the market. Worked in a consultative fashion with other department heads, such as marketing, production and operations as an advisor of operations that improved their efficiency and effectiveness. Accountable for over 35 Project Management and Administration personnel and 55 Field Superintendents and Craftspeople. Identified future leaders and engaged them in a mentoring program with other senior members of the management team.Key Contributions:• Guided the strategic plan to expand into new markets of healthcare, higher education, and commercial construction to supplement the company’s focus on senior living. Implemented five-year plan increasing revenues from $18 to $95M• Led the transition of an ERP system from JD Edwards to Viewpoint for cost accounting and project management to enhance reporting of information more easily for more effective management of job cost.• Provided operational training to increase size and complexity of projects through rigorous process.• Initiated a quality control/quality assurance plan reducing costs of errors and omissions by $1M, targeted to reduce them to less than 1% of gross revenue.• Developed stronger safety initiatives and a Safety Council and maintained zero lost time accident history and recordable tracking below 1.2 for 2017.• Created Building Information Modeling (BIM) department and developed the BIM processes to move the company to the next level of project performance and engaged Lean practices in processes. • Developed a work acquisition team with a 32% annual hit rate on negotiated and lump sum work.

Accountable for the financial performance and operational integrity of construction operations along the east coast. Oversaw operations to support growth and add to the bottom line of a leading national, design/build general contractor specializing in hospital design and construction with annual sales of $350M and 200 Design Engineers and Construction Employees.Coordinated company imitative to consistently align operations across all regions of the division and maintain engagement with core business while enhancing company standards for customer and quality services. Managed nine Project Managers, nine Superintendents, and 15 Field and Office staff.Key Contributions:• Completed $400M of design/build, lump-sum hospital construction at diverse geographical locations, on schedule, under budget and exceeding the initial expected profit margins to the company. This included a $200M total replacement hospital.• Performed monthly financial analysis of each job using CMiC software and immediately implemented process improvement and cost control measures resulting in more favorable profit margins. Initiated project cost control measures which resulted in a 2.5% reduction in costs.• Functioned as primary company representative to hospital CEOs and boards during the construction phase. Used these contact and relationships to assist with future work acquisition.• Managed HBE job site staff, subcontractors and general laborers with a team building approach to create unity among all disciplines. Confident and competent in dealing with hospital executives as well as field staff.• Coordinated the design engineering side of the business with the construction arm handling technical issues on projects.

Responsible for construction operations for four states of PA, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey managing three operating offices.

Planned and operated a pure crane rental business in central Pennsylvania.

Managed a stand alone business unit specializing in lump sum public work for Federal, State and Local municipalities.
