Providing business consultancy and project leadership for a wide portfolio of UK Defence projects dealing with data warehousing, data migration and transformation enabling better business intelligence.

I worked as a project lead in the Land and Littoral Manoeuvre (LLM) Fleet Capability Integration Group (FCIG) in Navy Command HQ on a Joint Fires Strategy Paper. The paper considered the role of Joint Fires within the the Future Maritime Operational Concept, output from Developments Concepts and Doctrine Centre (DCDC), and analysis from current operations.

Working at the coalface of implementing the new Defence Information Infrastructure, I led a series of workstreams: Discovery, Sweep Up, Security, Disposals and Lessons Learned. I reported directly to the Joint Programme Board representing my Director.

Picis is a US-owned healthcare IT company, providing the Operating Theatre system for the NHS NPfIT Programme. Keith’s assignment required him to take a strongly operational role, acting as the single point of client accountability in the UK engaged with the NHS National Programme for IT, directing both the programme assurance function and PMO.

METRO International (NASDAQ:MTROA) is a Swedish-owned media company, producing free-to-read newspapers in 13 countries around the World. Keith piloted the role of Vice President HR, introducing coherent HR practices across this truly international business and created a standardised reporting systems allowing benchmarking between businesses. Later, as a trouble-shooter, he conducted management audits world-wide.

Brainspark plc (LSE:BSP) is a technology business incubator, focused on investing, rapidly developing and divesting early stage or start-up businesses. The company floated on the AIM in April 2000 achieving a £125M mkt cap. Initially as Director Human Capital (later Director Operations), Keith joined as a key member of the start-up management team. The British Army uses exacting selection tests and training for officers, to ensure high quality leadership. Keith’s Army career involved increasingly challenging, 2-3 year tours in locations world-wide. Keith held appointments in which he made situation assessments, planned, managed and delivered successful outcomes. Keith saw action in both Operation Corporate in the Falklands in 1982 and Operation Granby (Desert Shield/Storm) in the Gulf in 1991.
