• Providing a high level, high quality service to Vodacom Business corporate clients.• Provide technical telephonic first level and second level support to the network and end users.• Supporting all technical aspects of a Converged Network infrastructure (IP, MPLS, QOS, GSM, WAN, LAN etc.).• Working as part of a team and operating in a fast paced, changing and challenging 24x7 environments.• Network connectivity troubleshooting, ping, tracert, telnet & nslookup.• Investigating, diagnosing and resolve all network problems.• Identify and escalate faults to the vendors when required.• Working with multiple technical platforms i.e. Cisco, Juniper, Mikrotik, Hughes & Huawei and Billion.• Fault Management update on Siebel CRM.• Configuring cisco routers, Huawei and Billion.• Troubleshooting of the core network (BGP, OSPF, RIP, and STATIC ROUTE).• Monitor the performance of the routers and escalate if any discrepancies detected.• Client update and follow up until incident closure.• Assist field personnel in the troubleshooting and resolution of issues using remote tools.• Verify host credentials and data balance on Cisco Secure Access Control Server (ACS) • Interact with internal departments, client technical and vendor support to work network or service issues until resolved.• Check list of all sessions usage on fortigate firewall and very firewall policy of IP Address.• Troubleshoot issues on the Business and Consumer VoIP platforms – issues ranging from minor to complex.• Resolve network issues, adhering to SLA requirements and or reasonable resolution time.• Troubleshoot SIP-trunk, HIP over ADSL and verify SIP Registration.• Experience in Cisco Routers & Switches, Acme, Quintum and Patton Gateway, Broadsoft, SIP, Cisco phones, Aastra phones, Snom Phones.

• Installing, configuring and operating the following:• Providing 1st line support through telephone to all calls logged telephonically and on email.• Install, repair and upgrade Windows XP, 7 and vista.• Windows Active Directory, DHCP.• Installing software’s to desktops and laptops.• Manage the LAN network for user on their VLAN.• Ensuring that network printers are fully operational, shared for specific users and configurations are set for optimal printing.• Install, configure and support Windows Office suite.• Ensure that the latest anti-virus, software’s patches and fixes are updated.• Keeping record of IT Asset register.• Troubleshooting/diagnose pc, laptops, hardware, software’s and Printers.• Creating and terminating user’s accounts and resetting passwords on AD.• Attend to calls assigned by service desk.• Remote users using Kaseya and Remote Desktop, to resolve their issues and log calls to sugar CRM application.• Configuring Emails accounts , Configuring VPN software and connection on users machines.
