I have established new sourcing and recruiting operations functions at global firms during rapid expansion. Experienced in change management to bring process, efficiency, and data visibility to TA teams while not impeding speed and agility as the company doubled in size over two years. The teams I have led and built were remote-first and global in scope. --A wise leader once said, "In the information age, you're as ignorant as you want to be." When I first started recruiting, I built a PC from parts to better understand the world of desktop support technicians I spoke to. In 2016 I completed freeCodeCamp's front-end development track to understand vanilla JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and github. (I can run a for loop and splice in ES5, but closures still blow my mind.) Intellectual curiosity has enabled me to grow into a dynamic talent acquisition leader and person. When I'm not working you can find me staring at the unread stack of books from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series (I'm on book four... and it's collecting dust!), watching Critical Role, getting into nature with my wife, kids, and mirrorless camera, and rolling some d20s. Oh, and I just bought a road bike for the first time in 20 years...
