Mobile Crisis Team Peer Specialists are mobilized to respond quickly to field and community based requests for crisis intervention from police, fire, medics, DCRs, and the Crisis Clinic in order to connect individuals in a mental health or substance use crisis to more therapeutic treatment options, other than jail or the emergency room. Working to stop the trend of criminalizing mental illness, and make sure individuals in mental health crisis get the help they need. The team works throughout King County in a wide variety of community settings and in all types of weather.

Specializing in community resource coordination to serve individuals experiencing a wide variety of hindrances to personal recovery, including homelessness, addiction, trauma, cooccurrence, domestic violence, alienation, or assisting and empowering individuals to discover a path of recovery and successful goal identification of their own choosing.

Pierce County Intensive Residential Treatment Team (IRT)Supporting individuals shown to have the highest rate of hospitalization or expected recidivism, and the highest impact on emergency services, with full behavioral health outpatient wraparound support provided within community settings such as adult family homes (AFH) or assisted living facilities.This position requires high skills of multi-organizational care coordination, team work, and an understanding of existing community resources.

Here it was my pleasure to cook for and under the strictest scrutiny of the company’s largest purchasers and the highest position holders as the building doubled as the corporate home office. I am proud to say that my dishes were chosen to be photographed to be used as examples in cooking guide books for the companies national in house restaurants, both full service and cafes.
