Her work has meaningfully impacted wide ranging business issues including climate change and natural capital, responsible sourcing and sustainable supply chains, and human capital management and human rights. Among the keys to her success is effective engagement and frequent collaboration with corporate leadership, inclusive of the Board of Directors, CEO and C-suite. A recognized thought leader and sought-after public speaker, Katherine is frequently cited as one of the top global leaders in sustainability and was a First Movers Fellow at the Aspen Institute. Katherine currently serves as Chief Sustainability Officer and SVP of Sustainability, Policy & Philanthropy at Duke Energy. She also sits on Duke Energy's Strategy Advisory Council.
