- Taught English as a foreign language to 360 primary and secondary students at a public school in adherence with the Myanmar national curriculum guided by the Peace Corps standards of classroom facilitation- Trained counterpart teachers in developing lesson plans to deliver student-centered teaching targeted at improving classroom management and student performance- Held weekly conversation classes to improve English speaking competence among faculty members and colleagues- Collaborated in the design of a 4-week English summer program for 50 middle school students in a non-classroom setting, with an emphasis on learning through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic pedagogy- Coached students enrolled in a national English speech competition and was instrumental in supporting a student to the national championship level - Acted as a representative for the Peace Corps and aimed to promote topics such as diversity and inclusion, environmental awareness, mental health, and women’s health
