Led the Content Verticals engineering team (~145 engineers, ~18 managers) – a product team responsible for building premium content services across multiple platforms with the aim of building a delightful daily habit for one billion users. We are currently focused on five main areas:1) Weather – responsible for building the weather forecasting service powered by ML as well as the weather experience supporting billions of Windows users. Achieved the milestone of being the most accurate weather forecasting service in the world (study conducted by ForecastWatch)2) Sports – transitioned product from abandoned mode into growth mode. Led the team to significantly pay down legacy tech debt, modernized the codebase, while growing the product by 190% within 6 months3) Gaming – new product in incubation stage. Mission is to build a compelling casual gaming experience, partnering with 3rd party gaming developers. Grew product to 21M daily play minutes as of May 20234) Finance – mission is to build a service to provide financial insights to our users through intelligent dataanalysis that will help them make sound financial decisions. Grew product by 39% within 6 months5) Incubation – leverage the new ChatGPT technology to build new products with the aim of building a moreefficient flywheel to improve retention

Support the Entertainment Vertical team (~60 engineers). The Entertainment Vertical team is a product team responsible for incubating new product ideas and building deep expertise in specific entertainment categories that are critical to reaching young adults. We are currently focused on three main areas:1) Music – Music is deeply ingrained into our culture - it is a powerful form of expression and a basis for connection. It consistently ranks as the #1 interest for young adults. Our vision is for Facebook to be the destination where fans, especially young adults, connect with artists & build community, and where the next generation of artists are discovered.2) Fantasy Games – Fantasy games are simple prediction games built around culturally relevant events. They are a source of connection and conversation for people of all ages with varying interests - but specifically appeal to young adults because of their interactive nature.3) Lifestyle and Beauty – Lifestyle & Beauty Creators are a large, growing and underserved market with mass young adult appeal. The vertical also offers an additional upside for FB when laddered up to commerce. Our vision is to make FB the go-to place for Lifestyle & Beauty Creators to create, earn a living and connect with viewers

Support the Marketplace Foundation teams (~40 engineers). The Marketplace Foundation team is a product team responsible for building the core foundation for the buyer and seller experiences that is used across all the different verticals within Marketplace. We own all the critical buyer and seller surfaces and are responsible for helping Marketplace scale to billions of users worldwide. We build the foundation in a way that is scalable and we provide the necessary platform/infrastructure to help our partner teams scale and succeed.We have already made great progress to date on our mission to connect people through commerce. Every month, hundreds of millions of people use Marketplace to sell their products in 90+ markets over the world. In only two years, Marketplace has become the de facto leader in local C2C commerce. Our winning aspiration is to become the #1 player globally.

One of four seed engineers on Facebook Marketplace. Worked as a full-stack cross-platform engineer. Responsible for designing and building the core backend (including integration with integrity systems, ranking systems, index, etc) and UX foundation that powers the product. Brought the product from initial concept, to MVP, to product market fit, to serving hundreds of millions of people every month around the world. The Marketplace organization have grown from four engineers to hundreds of engineers over the span of a few years.

Worked in the Bing division, XAP Platform team. Responsible for features in the query serving platform as well as in the application deployment pipeline of Bing. Technical Lead for the inception, design and execution of various projects with a focus on application deployment of distributed systems. Also worked on various projects that aim to improve the current XAP developer platform experience. Perform on-call duty safe-guarding the live site quality of Bing.com.

Worked in the Bing division, Query Serving Platform team. Design and implement infrastructure and processes enabling functional/performance test and validation of the distributed system powering the query serving engine of Bing.

Worked in the Windows Phone division. Design and implement extensible test infrastructure to support automation testing on the Windows Phone platform. Review product designs and test specifications for new features in products focusing on electronic communications.
