I Implemented front-end and server-side code to create a fully automated subscription service allowing customers to sign up to the company’s telecommunications products. This involved the application of NodeJS, Express, JQuery ES6 Javascript and a wealth of other current tech in a real-world, user-facing environment.

A temporary position where I created design documentation and concept designs for a variety of games for children.

I moved to Belgrade to help Nordeus develop an ambitious free to play world builder title with novel gameplay mechanics. This project passed two internal greenlight tests and has moved from the concept phase to pre-production. As a key member of the design team, my achievements included the following.- Employing rapid prototyping to iterate concepts for UX, game mechanics, tutorials and more.- Analysing target audience data to develop the game’s setting, play style and central narrative.- Shaping the Creative Director’s exciting ideas into solid and engaging systems.

At HotGen I helped to create To-Fu Fury, one of two Fire Phone exclusive debut games that Amazon commissioned to showcase their device’s powerful graphical capabilities and unique Dynamic Perspective feature.As co-designer during the latter half of To-Fu Fury’s development my achievements included the following:- Streamlining the menu system to make navigating levels, game functions and the shop easier and more intuitive.- Improving First Time User Experience to ease the player into the game faster and more smoothly.- Optimising the HUD to make it more legible at a glance, discrete and useful.- Trimming the game’s feature set into a leaner, better integrated whole. This reduced development time and allowed the player faster access to the really fun elements of the game.To-Fu Fury was received so warmly by Amazon that company head Jeff Bezos demonstrated the game during the Fire Phone introductory press conference. To-Fu Fury has a 4.5 star rating on the App Store and iOS and Android versions will be released soon.Also at HotGen I created a variety of high quality pitch documents for external publishers, and undertook level design, in-game economics balancing, Unity scripting and much more.

Space Hat Games was my sole-trader startup. Working in a wide variety of disciplines including coding, design and marketing I developed and released Moon Boing to iOS, Android and Amazon Kindle Fire. Moon Boing received very positive reviews from online media while the vast majority of user reviews awarded it five stars.

Participated in the development of eleven published titles including Zombie HQ (iOS), Sinbad (iOS), Aliens Vs. Predator (Xbox 360, PS3, PC), PDC World Championship Darts: Pro Tour (Wii, PS3, XBox 360) and Star Wars Battlefront Elite Squadron (PSP). Currently working on two unannounced iOS games.- First Time User Experience guru for the company's iOS projects- Carried PDC World Championship Darts through to completion as its sole designer- Created the Aliens Vs. Predator Marine Demo for E3 to very high specification and on time- Trusted to undertake some of the most technically complicated parts of any project, such as the atmospheric Jungle and Refinery Marine missions in Aliens Vs. Predator and the final boss battle in Rogue Trooper.

Published two titles: Serious Sam: Next Encounter (Gamecube) and Sudeki (XBox). In addition to level design, created the most technically advanced and impressive boss in the former and redesigned many of the minions in the latter to make them more imaginative, intuitive and challenging.

Provided front-line help desk support to customers experiencing difficulty in using the Internet or the company’s Web services.
