Procurement Coordinator
Current- Administer and execute all activities involved with procuring goods and services for the City of Cambridge
- Ensure all purchases are made and awarded in accordance with the policies and procedures as stated within the Procurement By-law and/or other federal or provincial legislation
- Coordinate multiple projects at a time while ensuring the day-to-day operations of the department
- Work closely with finance, accounting, and various departments to ensure funds and budgets are not exceeded
- Formulate strategic procurement plans for the City in order to maximize buying power and minimize inefficiencies, in conjunction with Client Departments
- Provide support to Client Departments on specifications, value analysis and weighted evaluation factors for goods and services purchased
