My responsibilities involve production planning and materials control as well as management of the entire factory system and manpower. To plan and forecast production capacity for the Factory. Materials and production planning. Product lead time simulation and communication to marketing. Stores management. Inventory and WIP management. ERP systems and logistics management. Manpower and machine scheduling. Machinery and tools management Development of Weekly and monthly KPI's. Daily and Weekly performance monitoring and evaluation. Generation of daily work orders for each work station. Quality management and control. Safety and PPE management and control. Lean manufacturing and bottleneck management. 5S, House Keeping and scrap control Employee Training and Evaluation. Problem troubleshooting and rectification. Collaboration with Engineering on best Preventive Maintenance Schedule. Reconciliation of planned targets with actual production and noting the variances. Reports generation and communication to the directors for performance appraisals  Budgets and identifying departmental needs and making purchase requisitions.

To ensure the accomplishment of set production targets to meet customer demand at the right time, in the right quality and within the set budget. Fully aware of all the cables produced by the company and the procedures needed to meet the production and quality targets. To monitor the workers and ensure they participate in behavioral based safety audits and potential risk detection audit tools that enforce high level of safety and quality. To train workers and enforce human resources evaluation and upgrade of operator capabilities. Ensure the company is conforming in line with SHEQ standards and ISO-standards. To rehearse with planning on the monthly targets and how best to execute them. Evaluate machine breakdowns and recommend to Engineering required planned preventive maintenance on machines in the plant. Always try to optimize the given resources to meet company objectives.
