Developed the Mine Warfare Reach Back Cell (MIWRBC) products and customer support procedures. MIWRBC provides environmental graphical georeferenced products and tabular data (graphs and tables). This was achieved by accessing NAVO’s considerable environmental databases and by working as a liaison between the scientists at Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVO) and MIW forces worldwide. As Manager of production was responsible for the integration of ArcGIS capability into the cell to producing bathymetry and navigational charts (based on Digital Nautical Chart data) and environmental data charts (such as doctrinal bottom type), based off of Naval Oceanographic Center (NAVO) data. Resulting in products more relevant to the customer delivered on shorter timelines.Primary trainer of personnel in the use ArcGIS and web based product delivery systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Resulting in well trained, highly productive workforce. Developed an Excel production tracking sheet that displayed alerts for products that were approaching due dates. This tracking sheet uses formulas to highlight time remaining on till deadlines a large number of projects and is used by superiors to stay updated on projects status.
