Lead developer on a multi-year, million-dollar redesign of the University’s web presence that came in on-time and on-budget. - Converted the main University web presence to a WordPress Multisite with a new theme that leveraged the Twig template engine. - Developed a system to serve the new WordPress sites statically via AWS CloudFront. This included the development of a custom WordPress plugin to handle syncing of the statically generated files to Amazon S3. - Developed 9 different API endpoints hosted on AWS Lambda to replace existing PHP systems and created WordPress page templates and JavaScript frontends to pull dynamic data from the AWS Lambda endpoints. - Utilized the WordPress API to pull dynamic data from the University’s WordPress-based News site into the new WordPress theme.• Managed the migration of the University’s on-premises events system into a SaaS platform to provide a more robust experience for the University community. - Developed a PHP based iCalendar generator to import data from two other calendaring systems in use by the University. - Created a PHP and MySQL script to export events from the legacy events system for ingestion into the SaaS platform.• Led the development of a major redesign and CMS migration for the Owen Graduate School of Management’s website. - Developed a WordPress theme utilizing a component based design system. - Created a custom PHP backend application for data management. Integrated those systems within the WordPress theme for frontend display.• Maintained 6 different WordPress Multisite installs that host over 300 different sites for the University.• Managed and mentored a team of six developers.

• Led the team’s efforts on the migration from on-premises hosting to AWS cloud based hosting.• Managed the process for migrating over 230 different individual WordPress installs into one of four new WordPress Multisite installs.• Coordinated the migration for all on-premise sites maintained by a third-party, SaaS CMS system over to AWS cloud servers and databases.• Developed 10 custom web applications for various areas of the University. - Utilized a combination of in-house application templates and PHP frameworks for the backend development. - Created application frontends using JavaScript, jQuery, React, and Angular.• Created the frontend build system for the University’s 2015 redesign. This structure simplified the maintenance of shared redesign elements.
