Theo is a Managing Partner of + Curiosity, a Tokyo-based creative consultancy specializing in placemaking and bringing physical spaces to life.+ Curiosity advises major real estate developers, property owners, and retailers on how to create a sense of "place" through the use of curated art, culture and food programmes and events.

Theo served as Chief Operating Officer at Husband Retail, a Hong Kong based retail planning and consulting firm, where he had day-to-day responsibility over all business activities at the firm.

With the global merger of Cushman & Wakefield and DTZ in 2015, Theo was promoted to Head of Retail, Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong. In addition to his role as APAC Retail Head, Theo also served on Cushman & Wakefield's Global Retail Board, representing the Asia Pacific region.

In this role, Theo worked with retail colleagues across the region to build best-in-class retailer tenant representation services of a personalized but consistent nature.Theo also managed the accounts of key clients in the region, including Apple, Lululemon, Tesla, Hollister, Suit Supply, and J.Crew.

Theo headed Cushman & Wakefield's Retail Tenant Representation business in China, with a primary focus on Shanghai and Beijing. Full responsibility for the Department’s P&L, strategy, and hiring. Theo was a member of the Apple Retail Real Estate team focused on the Asia Pacific region, where he managed projects in Japan and Greater China. In his role, Theo also assisted the London-based Head of the EMEA/APAC Retail Real Estate teams in running operations.

Developed C&W's retail services business in Japan into a market leading team. Won several key international retailer accounts, such as Apple and Abercrombie & Fitch. Represented them in their expansion efforts in Japan. Regular and direct communication with the clients’ key decision makers at both their HQ, regional, and local levels.
