Senior Project ManagerBbc Media Action Dec 2017 - Aug 2020New Delhi Area, IndiaI engage with the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS), Government of India to implement and scale up a mobile IVR-based training service for 'Swachhagrahis' (DDWS's village level cadre on sanitation). As a pilot I led the implementation of the mobile service across five districts in four states of India, training and supporting the state and district Government officials in the roll out process. I also supervised the development and production of mobile course content and branding. The uptake of the mobile service in the pilot was higher than the targets set. The mobile service was selected by DDWS to showcase to the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India on the occasion of Swachh Bharat Diwas 2019. As a project lead, I managed and delivered the #FlushKeBaad social media campaign for awareness and engagement on urban sanitation, first of its kind in the country. #FlushKeBaad won Silver in Best in Social Media Engagement at South Asia Digital Media Awards 2019 and a Silver in Best Public Awareness Campaign at Exchange4Media awards 2019. -

Sbcc Specialist - Ict And New MediaFhi 360 Feb 2013 - Mar 2015New Delhi Area, IndiaI was assigned to the USAID funded Improving Healthy Behaviors Program (IHBP), the objectives of which were to build capacity of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) at all levels to design, execute and evaluate strategic communication programs on behavior change. The project focus was on four thematic areas — family planning and reproductive health; adolescent health, Tuberculosis; HIV/AIDS; and maternal and child health. As part of the ICT portfolio,a) I led the implementation of 'Heroes in White', a social media campaign for the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) to engage doctors to tackle stigma and discrimination faced by HIV+ people at hospitals. In 5 weeks, the campaign website had 22,000 unique visitors, 2000+ registrations and 30,000 likes on the Facebook page. b) I helped in content development of '9 minutes'. a JAVA based game to educate users on do's and don'ts during pregnancy. c) I helped in setting up 'India HIV Online' for NACO, a digital repository of all communication materials on HIV.d) I led the design and pilot of a 30 minute IVR based refresher training on new Government guidelines on family planning.As part of the SBCC portfolio,a) I helped in development of strategy, design and production of 360 degree campaign outputs like TV commercials, music videos, radio spots, OOH, digital contentb) I helped in procurement of creative, digital, PR and production agencies as and when required along with end to end vendor managementc) I helped in knowledge management viz. annual work plans, progress reports and maintaining repository of campaign outputsd) I helped in training and orientation of state and district Government officials for implementing the SBCC campaigns designed by the project -
