We work toward a future where all communities have spaces and opportunities to create human relationships outside of the culture, geography, and economic class you were born into.

The Partnership to Advance Responsible Technology (PART) is a nonprofit think-tank comprised of multi-skilled experts supporting the responsible development of AI and data-driven technologies. We work with stakeholders across public, private, nonprofit, and academic sectors to ensure that their efforts to develop, deploy, or govern emerging technologies are informed by global standards and ethical best practices. Our team includes AI researchers, technology ethicists, business leaders, legal consultants, and policy experts, with whom we work to create unique and collaborative solutions for challenges and opportunities facing these fast-changing fields.

PGH.AI (or Pittsburgh AI) is a community-led initiative dedicated to improving the accessibility, connectivity, and transparency of Pittsburgh’s rich artificial intelligence ecosystem. We bring together a diverse and welcoming community of experts and novices alike to engage in a wide spectrum of topics (including research, education, ethics, policy, workforce, robotics, arts, and more), in hopes that together, we can help Pittsburgh truly fulfill its potential as a world leader in responsible AI.

The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs is the hub of Harvard Kennedy School's research, teaching, and training in international security and diplomacy, environmental and resource issues, and science and technology policy. From terrorism and nuclear weapons to cybersecurity, climate change, energy, and diplomacy, the Belfer Center provides research, ideas, and leadership for a more secure, peaceful world. In 2018, the Belfer Center launched a new endeavor, the Technology and Public Purpose (TAPP) Project, which works to ensure that emerging technologies are developed and managed in ways that serve the overall public good.

The IBM Watson AI XPRIZE is a $5 million AI and cognitive computing competition challenging teams globally to develop and demonstrate how humans can collaborate with powerful AI technologies to tackle the world’s grand challenges. The $10M ANA Avatar XPRIZE is a four-year global competition focused on the development of an Avatar System that will transport a human’s sense, actions, and presence to a remote location in real time, leading to a more connected world. As one of a handful of XPRIZE Ambassadors worldwide, I am responsible for coordinating teams, mentors, and support networks throughout region (Central US & parts of the East Coast), and organizing programs at key milestones in the competition lifecycle.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) leads the national effort to understand, manage, and reduce risk to our cyber and physical infrastructure. CISA connects stakeholders in industry and government to each other and to resources, analyses, and tools to help them build their own cyber, communications, and physical security and resilience, in turn helping to ensure a secure and resilient infrastructure for the American people.
