I am the host of the Art of Storytelling Podcast, where I use a transformative approach to reform the narrative associated with black life in America. My journey began after I was medically retired from the United States Army, where I served for 17 years with honor. Despite my retirement, I was still eager to serve my nation, so I looked for various work positions that would incorporate the talents and skills I had learned from my life and military service. Through these experiences and my transferrable skills, I was able to develop problem-solving, team-building, and leadership skills, which helped me understand the mindset needed for individual and collective success.Throughout my life and work experiences, I noticed a common theme - the fine art of storytelling. This realization led me to create an experience that could help reshape the narrative of an underserved yet highly exploited society - the black community. Thus, the Art of Storytelling Podcast was born. The podcast utilizes a transformative content approach to help reshape the narrative associated with black life in America. By sharing real stories from real people, the podcast aims to provide an informational experience, one story at a time.

We conducted national engagement campaigns aimed at raising awareness about bullying, teen suicide, and supporting the surviving family members. We conducted group sessions both physically and virtually. Furthermore, we provided counseling to family members, both collectively and individually. We helped them identify signs, symptoms, and behaviors exhibited by teens prior to attempted suicides. We also kept track of the metrics of our campaigns, community outreach, homeless feeds, and fundraisers on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

Implemented a custom design auditing strategy that resulted in an increase in the overall UPS District revenue stream well over its targeted weekly goal by 200%.Exceeded the outlined and prescribed internal finance operational expectations by increasing established compliance within external freight and shipping operations throughout COHO hub operations by averaging 10,000-20,000 weekly with a per annum total of $800,000 in revenue year to date.Increased COHO Hub total revenue billed average by 80% overall in than six months.

Trained, mentored, and developed a team of twenty Warehouse associates in all aspects of third-party logistics including customer service, inventory scheduling, cycle counts ERP and SAP databases, data entry, proper employment of hand-held terminal devices, and all other associated with daily warehouse functionality which increased overall warehouse productivity by 57%.Developed a standard operating procedure manual for proper stock item identification location and physical security measures to protect stocked commodities from theft, misplacement, damage, or weather which decreased loss, misplacement, and damage to commodities from stock exponentially by 87%.Managed internal and external conflict resolution relationship between employees and the customer base. Remedied all issues pertaining to mis shipped customer requests, shipping delays, third party suppliers and transportation assets to build lasting cooperative relations between all parties concerned.Managed first line employees performing the government regulated technical or specialized third party logistics activities within the scope of the operation of customer service and product support. Developed and executed project and process plans for operational success, implemented accountability policies and procedures and set clearly defined operational goals. Acquired essential resources necessary for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Developed and maintained exceptional relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Provided oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes. Managed, developed, and motivated employees to align in direct compliment with established worksite protocol and procedure.
