Oversee and establish long range plans and service line development for provider practice management. Leverage intrepreneurial skills to lead new launch of medical weight loss & lifestyle change program from ideation to implementation and ongoing management. Critically assess and then act on changing forces in the market. Foster strategic relationships with ACO businesses to create value-added wellness products. Work closely with senior clinical and medical leadership to design, develop, strengthen, grow, & implement programs to achieve both clinical and service goals. Lead measuring and achieving disease management and population management goals related to diabetes and weight management services. Excel at leading in a highly matrixed environment to manage, develop, and oversee daily operations including achieving operating and capital budgets, coding for maximum reimbursement, appropriate billing practices and service delivery to stakeholders.

Influenced senior clinical leadership decision-making, prepared financial information, designed and performed analysis for reporting requests, determined feasibility and coordinated launch of service lines and projects.

Manage the day-to-day operations of over 50 overnight flow and backroom team members to ensure safety and efficiency of the entire operation. Utilize state-of-the-art technology to manage the receiving processes, freight flow and replenishment transition, productivity results and background inventory.

Coordinated a presidential planning initiative of over 50 students, faculty, and staff charged with the prioritization and development of an action plan to address the leading health and wellness issues that negatively impact student academic success and retention at UND. Co-created and managed a $30,000.00 budget.

Over the course of the 480 hour internship, learned to perform each major functional area of the nursing home including: administration, human resources and personnel management, nursing and health care services, rehabilitation, medical and patient records, activities, social services and admissions, business and financial management, dietary, housekeeping and laundry, and environmental management/maintenance. Worked on projects including: Transitional Care Unit planning, market development, infection control policy creation, and cost control initiatives.

Worked closely with the Administrative Director of Primary Care on special projects including Safe Kids Grand Forks.  Created a Safe Kids alternative revenue strategic plan which detailed various opportunities, ways to utilize those opportunities, available resources, suggestions for improvement, and an overall plan for organizational sustainability.
