Involved from the start of design through construction on projects that are typically large, complex and involve multiple stakeholders.Specializes in coordinating with the design team and consultants to develop the initial design ideas furthering clients’ overall design goals. Works with systems consultants to create innovative, energy efficient, and sustainable solutions. Expertise in this area is illustrated by work on the Seattle Justice Center, the first city-owned LEED certified building, and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Headquarters project, which received a LEED Platinum certification.Most recently, oversaw the design and integration of the façade systems for the new Expedia campus on Seattle’s waterfront, featuring cable supported glass, and large operable sliding glass doors.
