・Initiated negotiations with the Ministry of Finance to amend the Act on Special Measures for the Promotion of Okinawa in order to create an economic zone in Okinawa that would attract firms by reducing corporate tax.

• Coordinated with 12 ministries to draft Strategy of Global Outreach, one part of 2013 Japan Revitalization Strategy, and wrote policies that helped Japanese companies do business in emerging countries.• Initiated establishment of new certification system for Japan’s small and medium enterprises to promote efficient coordination between organizations to support enterprises’ overseas businesses, and successfully added 321 government-affiliated and private organizations to system.• Nominated youngest coordinator of Japanese Delegation to East Asia Summit in Cambodia in 2012 and helped delegation launch Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership and China–Japan–South Korea Free Trade Agreement.

• Prioritized and arranged 150 meetings between Minister of METI and VIPs in other governments and companies by negotiating with all divisions to effectively allocate the Minister’s limited time.• Collaboratively managed 350-member Trade Policy Bureau.
