Kenji joined DeNA Co., Ltd back in 2009 as the Executive Director of Human Resources, where he engaged in the transformation of HR institutions, and helped establish the foundation for this rapidly growing company. Afterwards, he led the social game business during a period of rapid growth. In just two years as the head of this business, he grew segment revenue from a few billion yen to the 100 billion yen scale. After passing the game business to his successor, he transitioned to leading the corporate department, including corporate planning, where he led alliance initiatives with large corporations, such as Nintendo. During a time of extremely high interest from major international institutional investors, he also led dialogue with capital markets. He also served as a board director for DeNA from 2011 to 2015.Kenji brings a variety of management experience from the front lines, from his work in actual business departments, the corporate department, and also from managing a variety of growth phases, including periods of rapid growth and maturity.

Kenji went on to work in management consulting at Corporate Directions, Inc., where he become the fastest ever promoted to manager.
