Worked at the CSU Powerhouse Energy Campus and calculated pressure drop due to air filters. Between pressure transducers, there were 4 components and lots of turns in piping, which provided hands on application of Fluid Mechanics learning. Used EES to perform calculations.

Two-month research program through Purdue University and ASPIRE (Advancing Sustainability through Powered Infrastructure for Roadway Electrification). Worked with Dr. Jason Quinn and Noah Horesh (graduate student) at Colorado State University to determine capital costs and perform a techno-economic analysis to find levelized cost of charging for battery swapping for heavy-duty electric vehicles.

Performed attractive landscaping work for 15-25 clients at a time. Worked with one co-worker at a time (brothers, friends). Developed and maintained good relationships with clients and co-workers.

Two-month leader development internship. Traveled to Puerto Escondido, Mexico; Aurora, Illinois and Greeley, Colorado to serve and support churches within the network. Grew in conversational confidence, decision-making for a group, and ability to speak Spanish.
