Sinds 2019 hebben wij, als Escape Room fanaten, het geluk iedere dag bezig te mogen zijn met onze uiterste passie, genaamd Escape Rooms. In 2019 startten we met de ontwikkeling van Escape Room spelconcepten voor nieuwe kamers binnen bestaande ‘Fysieke Escape Room' locaties in België en Nederland. Een pandemie testte hierna binnen ons bedrijf meteen de kracht tot pivoteren, en bracht in begin 2020, maar liefst 2 volwaardige ‘Online Escape Games’ op de markt als resultaat, intussen gespeeld door +25.000 spelers. Het jaar 2020 zette ons bedrijf dan ook volledig op de kaart met het breken van een 'Officieel Guinness World Record’ voor ‘Meest gespeelde Escape Rooms in 24h’. In de uitdovende fase van Covid-19, waarin de Belg maar ook andere toeristen terug volop het binnenland gingen ontdekken, brachten we de eerste vorm van ‘Outdoor Escape Rooms’ op de markt. Zo ontwikkelden we maar liefst 32 Escape Wandelingen, in 8 verschillende unieke thema’s, in België en Nederland onder de naam 'EscapeFun’. Op vraag van verschillende bedrijven alsook welbekende Gert Verhulst & James Cooke uit de ‘Gert Late Night Show’, brachten we verschillende reeksen ‘Escape Boxen’ op de markt in 2021. Deze zijn speelbaar op je eigen kantoor, bij je thuis, alsook eender welke andere locatie. Met de huidige trends zoals ‘Gamification’, ‘Game-Based Learning’ en ‘Edutainment’ in de lift, werd Loconsilio Game Design ook vlot specialist in deze zogenaamde ‘op maat’ gemaakte ‘Business Games’ voor bedrijven. Naast deze permanente oplossingen, ondersteunt Loconsilio ook Pop-Up initiatieven en andere grootschalige events zoals het jaarlijkse BK Escape Rooms (cf. 2019, 2022). Met tot slot steeds een creatieve mindset en ambitieuze bedrijfsmissie voorop blijft Loconsilio dan ook pivoteren in 2023-2024 met tal van nieuwe en unieke Escape Room concepten alsook andere spelervaringen zoals: Outdoor Escape Fietstochten in de natuur, Mobiele Escape Room Containers op jouw bedrijfssite, etc.

This workshop was the ideal opportunity to get familiar with consultancy and all its aspects. Here we learned how to solve cases, hands-on, in interdisciplinary teams. Skills I mostly improved during this trajectory were problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.

Neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer can arise from abnormalities in neuronal plasticity and cellular resilience cascades.At Janssen, we are increasingly focused in this area because understanding how to control and augment this ability for the brain and central nervous system to adapt may lead to the discovery of novel therapeutics for the treatment of severe mood disorders and neurodegenerative dementias.

The KICK Entrepreneurship Academy will increase your awareness of the importance of (corporate) entrepreneurship and will provide you with the planning, strategic, financial, and creative skills required for setting up your own business. It is a special course package concerning entrepreneurship that was developed as a cooperation between KU Leuven KICK and the KU Leuven Faculty of Economics and Business.
