In my career in Telecommunication I have been exposed and had to fill several positions and functions. This include design & engineering of passive and active terrestrial wire and optical networks to transport and radio network engineering for access technology (WLL, PtP, MPtP, WiMAXd/e, PDH/SDH and IP MW, 2G/3G/LTE/5G and mobile Core). I also acted in management positions within Telkom SA and Siemens Telco. Since the formation of Nokia Networks, a Matrix management function has been adopted. This requires different management functions, from people and process management to managing people resources and material for projects and customer activities. In the last ten years I have been exposed to global telecm trends and it’s evolution. This knowledge is used to guide and advise customers on market and network trends and it's evolution to adopt standardization, changes to services offering to enhance end customer quality experience. This requires engagement on several different customer levels from Shareholders, Board and Executive Members, Senior and Middle management to operational staff. This engagement allows for the understanding of customer needs and it's operational environment and translating these customer needs into related business opportunity. Taking end-to-end sales case ownership in cross BU sales cases, leading and coordinates inter BU/SBU activities to achieve CT and Customer goals. Participate in CT sales & marketing activities and build strong customer relationships within customer organizations.Specialties: Identify & qualify customers’ business needs into related opportunities in alignment with Nokia and customer’s commercial and technology strategies. Sales support within the Customer Team (CT), including solution selling, value-based argumentation and scoping of solutions and services.
