I am a co-founder of Fourier as a business and brand more than twenty years ago and stayed involved in the business over time. As far as formal studies are concerned, I graduated in Electronic Engineering at the University of Pretoria, with a Masters in Engineering Management. Career assignments include- Integrated Logistic Support design and acquisition for large defense systems- Integrated Logistic Support Systems Design, Development and Implementation- Maintenance Planning consulting for defense and mining systems/equipment/installations- Information Strategy Development and Consulting- Information Systems Design, Development and Implementation in various industry sectors such as Banking, Facilities Management, etc.My career lead to a close interaction with Industrial engineering, with many colleagues from this discipline, and ultimately to the formation of Fourier Approach in 1998, as a consultancy in Engineering Management and Information Management.Fourier Approach was unbundled in 2013 with the formation of Fourier E Consultation Services (spesialising in industial engineering and solution based consulting, and Fourier IT Innovation, specialising in information mangement services and solutions. Fourier Recruitment was added to the group and is the youngest subsidiary.The group grew mostly organically over the more than 20 years of existance, but for a majority stake in RQTech as a business which was acquired.I have a participative mangement style, willing to help develop individuals to become the best they can be. I strongly believe that the culture of the organisation is an important component of the success of the business in the long term, and that consistency in living the values we have enhance our resilience and prosperity.The Fourier Approach Group currently have four subsidiaries. I serve on the boards of all these companies and play the role of chairman. My personal aim is to see our customers thrive financially and in brand value, due to our inputs in efficiency improvements, sound information mangement and information systems provisioning. In achieving this the Fourier Approach Group will prosper for its shareholders and employees.
