I am a former forensic drug analyst and university educator with 16 years of laboratory experience in academic, industrial and government settings. I have led research in synthetic and analytical chemistry involving small molecule drugs and analogs. Work is most rewarding to me when it is of use to others whether it be aiding the identification compounds using analytical techniques like GC-MS, LC-MS, NMR and IR or making techniques like portable IR and GC-MS more accessible to first responders who can use the information to keep themselves and others safe. I am open to providing technical expertise as a research collaborator in these areas.
