Shaunt is a real estate partner at Allen Matkins. He advises institutional investors, public and private REITs, investment funds, publicly traded companies, developers, operators, and lenders on complex commercial real estate transactions.Shaunt focuses his practice on structuring, negotiating, documenting, and closing a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including complex joint ventures (including portfolio and programmatic joint ventures), portfolio equity recapitalizations, asset-level and entity-level acquisitions and dispositions, development and construction matters, and mortgage, mezzanine and preferred equity financings. He has extensive experience advising on transactions across a broad spectrum of asset types, including industrial, data centers, multifamily, affordable and student housing, manufactured housing, retail, office, hospitality, self-storage, and shopping centers.
