Professionally:In 2020, PrimaTasc, based in Genk, Belgium, was taken over by BlueIT, also a Belgian company. This meant moving the main offices to the Zandhoven area, not far from Antwerp. At BlueIT, after several different roles, I was appointed as the Product Owner of the MainTasc software applications suite.In early 2018, my transition from Senior Developer to Management function was exciting and surprising. A successful Project manager must ensure that the project management is set up correctly from day one. If the initial analysis is lacking, this will snowball into a budgetary and delivery overrun.Previously:Software Engineer, Application Developer, Database Administrator and Project Manager. Senior Consultant for MainTasc Enterprise. Nineteen years of experience scheduling and supporting/coaching schedulers for different turnarounds/shutdowns at DSM, Sabic, and DOW Chemicals.Creatively:Although I have been writing for several years, I have consistently written for the online publication The Everyday Solopreneur only since the beginning of 2023. The topics for the weekly articles include Project Management, Human Resources Management, Mental Health, and Creativity.However, lately, the articles have focused on the Creative Writing process for both short-form and long-form writing projects. I'm currently working on three book projects, but of course, I know to concentrate on one at a time. Otherwise, it would be too confusing and counterproductive.
