•Weld inspection: witness welder qualification testing (WQT), fit up inspection, monitor consumable handling and sampling welding parameters.•Material receiving inspection: review Material Certificates (MTR), and monitor storage conditions for welding and coating consumable.•Inspection of field bend, counterbore, and stringing.•Preparation of inspection reports, maintaining logs and registers for progressive turnover.

•Review of material test certificates & material receiving Inspection. Preparing material receiving report.•Ensure inspection and testing of work is carried out in accordance with verification check plans, work packs, installation check sheets, ITP's, project standards, referenced specifications etc.•Ensures all interested parties identified on ITP’s hold and witness points are present for inspection and that activities are inspected and comply with requirements as work progresses.•Liaise with key stakeholders, eg: Suppliers, Sub-Contractors, Engineers, Site Supervisors to promote required quality acceptance criteria.•Conducts inspections, witness testing activities, ensures compliance with established requirements and records as per applicable verification documentation.•Manage traceability throughout a project eg requesting various forms of NDT, compile weld & material traceability, compilation of pressure test packs, maintain equipment calibration logs and welder’s qualification register.•Compile, review, and maintain turnover packages. •Participate in client audits.

•Maintain a comprehensive log of field welds with heat numbers, NDE records, Tie-points and Welder ID’s, for traceability of welding activities•Check joint fit up, preheat, interpass temperature and heat input calculations as per WPDS, final visual inspection of completed welds.•Prepare material receiving reports (MRR), ensuring material is logged with MTRs, COCs and dimensional requirements are verified•Review construction drawings and isometrics to identify field weld locations and determine required WPS•Use BlueBeam to build field packs for inspectors and fitters to reference during construction process•Build and maintain welding consumable log. Sign and review electrode requisition forms•Witnessing of pressure test and assemble of pressure test packages with weld mapping, heat number mapping, NDE reports, heat treatment charts and gauge certifications.

•Verification of material grade and certificate conformity. •Review construction drawings and isometrics to identify field weld locations and determine required WPS. •Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and customer specifications. •Maintain documents for turnover including WPSs, PQRs, Welder Identification and qualification, NDE and material certificates. •Identification of base materials, crew selection, staging of equipment and application of WPSs.
