In this role I assist in communications on behalf of Hilmar Cheese Company I update and manage online presence including website updates using content management system, shopping cart using e-commerce system and social media presence. I manage online discussions by reading discussion forums and responding. I assist in writing articles and information for HCC publications. In this role I am fortunate to be able to work across departments and the Visitor Center and I help ensure that proper messaging is executed to achieve our defined objectives. I am the point of contact for scheduling tours for a variety of audiences (schools, bus tours, senior citizens, international guests, families and others) as well as providing high quality effective tours. I get to help train the tour guides so any tour guide assigned to a group will do an enthusiastically educational job! Hilmar Cheese Company gives back to the community in so many ways and I help administer the company scholarship program as well as captain the team for Relay for Life. I also participate in other community activities and outreach to the community by visiting schools and off-site events as well!
