As a research and teaching assistant for the Engineering and Management lectorate at the Aviation Acadamy I was involved in organizing the yearly honors program. Other activities involved developing a system for digital storage and usability of the theses. Reports of the last 4 years have been entered into the database and are organized by student information, topic, involved companies, and other keywords.

During the five month internship at KLM Engineering and Maintenance I performed an optimization of the flight data recorder analysis software and added functionality for analysis of flight data recorder downloads of a recently acquired aircraft. The project was part of a team effort to take a newly acquired Airbus A330-300 into service for KLM.The internship took place at KLM Engineering & Maintenance at the Avionics Engineering department.
