My mission as a Lean Organization consultant is to help companies improve the processes that drive their business. The processes are related to operations, sales, development, and strategy deployment. All too often, companies do not systematically improve the complete flow of their processes. In this case, adapting the lean principles, combined with the scientific SPDCA approach, is very effective in creating value for the customer, the employees, and the company. It increases the pace at which new and sustainable competitive advantages are embedded in the organization. However, Lean Thinking has limitations if we apply it strictly to process improvement on the shop floor. Instead, Lean should be a company-wide operating system about how people come together in a group. What they practice as human beings, the interconnection, the listening, the acknowledgment. I have spent the last few years studying how to blend the world of Lean Thinking together with Conscious Leadership and Mindfulness. My background is in Finance and Control. I worked for almost 20 years as CFO and controller in a Japanese multinational. This company has very strong experience in the Lean Method. Besides the traditional financial and control activities, I worked with the Japanese management on the measurement and improvement of the company's performance.
