Performs senior project management roles, overviews project team. Monthly evaluation of project kpi’s (cost/work/plan/open issues). Planning of corrective actions including yearly education to let team-members excel in their tasks. Deliver high-tech automated production lines according specification to global automotive customers (Bosch, Continental, Borgwarner, TRW, IMI,…). Yearly handle around 2 to 3 large lines ranging from half up to multi-million €/$ projects to be delivered within a time range of 6 months. Ensure project timeline is followed including necessary stage gates as design review-FMEA-pre-acceptance to ensure projects are delivered according customer needs. Weekly review and plan projects and service activities to ensure onsite customer satisfaction. Generally handling around 90 open projects towards around 20 different customers. Setting up, tracking and analyzing data to objectively evaluate automation lines are performing according initial set requirements (Cmk) in order to confirm all sides in the project.

Responsible for mechanical design of digital cinema projection.• Management of projects or products: Design of mechatronic devices, as example lamp unit holder operating at extreme high temperatures which needs to meet safety, serviceability and CE requirements. Also responsible for evaluation as well as design improvement up to launch of the product in the market. • Research and manufacturing: research on making weatherproof devices by reviewing sealing methods and possible coatings and how to adapt design and manufacturing of LED-walls. Coatings investigated ranged from traditional silicone coatings up to parylene with test setups for evaluation.

Responsible for cost down projects as well as start-up and guiding the R&D department to implement product life cycle procedures (design – ERP/MRP – CAD work procedures).• Management of products: Introduced an existing product in China completing localization and a 30% costdown ensuring a 100% compatibility with the same products produced in Europe/US. • Manufacturing knowledge: localized manufacturing production techniques as sheetmetal, milling, extrusion, plastic and metal moulding. • Intercultural / international leadership skills: lead a Chinese team of around 6 – 8 people, assisting other departments resulting in a competent organization able to produce products within 6 months from startup and able to generate new LED-wall products after 2 years for China and US market.

Design mechanics for electronic devices and mechanical support structures. Designed 2 new type of LED-support structures.
