Prior consulting experience includes PwC's Public Sector Health and Benefits sector where I provided management consulting to the Department of Veteran's Affairs and within Army and Navy Medicine. Recent consulting includes experience with Strategy and operations, IDES, Patient Centered Medical Home, Strategy and Balanced Scorecard, Medical data analytics, Telehealth, support to the completion of BRAC in 2011, and as Program Manager supporting the establishment of the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE).

• Profit and Loss like responsibilities for an annual operating budget of over $3.5 million in seven different accounts. Sought and gained additional $4.2 million in support of new initiatives.• Supervised the daily operations of 14 different sites in 10 states with over $47 M of facilities and $254M of equipment and materials – initiated eight major site renovations/improvements.• Mobilized and deployed over 800 Marines and Sailors to combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.• Responsible for the recruiting, safe training, and readiness of over 3500 Reserve Marines and Sailors. • Led daily community relations activities in 11 states, including over 1300 flawless military funerals.

• Developed innovative vision and strategies leading to the stabilization of Al Anbar, Iraq in 2007 including the restoration of Governance, Rule of Law, Economic Development and Tribal Engagement.• Gained, planned, executed and assessed over $161 million in reconstruction funds for Al Anbar, while leading and expanding a diverse staff of military, U.S. Government employees, and civilians.• Devised original concept and supervised detailed planning to integrate three new State Department Embedded Provincial Reconstruction Teams into on-going military operations. • Lead U.S. representative on the Republic of Korea (ROK)-US Command Relations Study. Crafted a radically new Alliance structure enabling the Republic of Korea direct control of their military forces.• Lead and expanded the Combined Interagency Coordination Group integrating representatives of the U.S. Embassy and Republic of Korea Government including the Ministry of Unification, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and others.• U.S. Secretary of the Republic of Korea -US Alliance’s Military Committee, including duties to organize annual meetings and emergency meetings of the U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Chairman of the ROK Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Led the Marine Corps’ most selective academic school conferring a Masters of Operational Studies. Gained the school’s first accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Led faculty and staff through a demanding academic regime to produce critical problem solvers and Operational Planners ready to work directly with three-star level General Officers/Flag Officers. Created new staff ride to Vietnam to study the French Indochina and U.S. Vietnam Wars. Revised Inter-War Innovation courses to better address military innovation in peace and war.

• Commanded a support cadre of over 70 technical experts that provided support in personnel, operations, training, facilities management, transportation, and supply management for an organization of 1,000 people located at four sites in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia. • Profit and Loss like responsibilities for an annual budget over $560,000.• Additionally responsible for supervision of over $500,000 of facilities improvements at four sites.• Developed and supervised comprehensive training program and logistics preparation to ensure preparedness of the unit to accomplish combat operations as required.• Routinely addressed community leaders and audiences on current world events.• Personally led and instructed team-building activities across the four dispersed sites to ensure personnel development and organizational alignment to goals and objectives.• Personally coached and mentored leaders from throughout the organization.

• Developed and implemented revised deployment process for routine and crisis deployments of 54,000 Marines and Sailors.• Deployed to Tuzla, Bosnia to support operations pursuing Indicted War Criminals in the Former Yugoslavia (Jan – Jun 98).• Lead planner for Marine Corps participation in Disaster Relief Operations (Sep - Dec 98) in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Honduras, Guatemala, and Nicaragua following Hurricanes Georges and Mitch.
