Driven by a human centred approach to solve problems, my passion is to aid people to a better quality of life.I’m fascinated by what drives people and why they do, what they do. Because my Psychology masters are focused on people (therapeutic and social & organisational side) and not on how to run and develop a business, I have completed a commercial traineeship and sales managers education with the aim of developing commercial and financial skills. By combining both disciplines (business and psychology), my goal is to make a positive impact on mental healthcare.I’m a strong believer that by looking at the entire ecosystem of (Dutch) healthcare, it is possible to work together with various stakeholders to overcome bottlenecks and improve the quality of life of patients.Through experience in my family I know how tough it can be to feel dependable and vulnerable in the (mental) healthcare system, my goal is to not only to have an opinion about the situation, but do my part in improving it.The next career step I aim for is to develope myself in commercial management to become a P&L responsible people manager. To translate (scientific) data to a strategy and tactics needed to be successful. This will give me insights in creating a sustainable business model. Because without a sustainable business model you cannot keep the doors open and help people get a better quality of life.
