Customers are cities such as Antwerp, Gent, Genk (in 2014 they won the price of government organization of the year with our project), Digipolis, the Flemish government and fire departments. Green Valley Belgium is a daughter of CIPAL, with Nuhma as second shareholder.Main achievements:• As CEO I directly reported to the Executive Board. I was responsible for sales and marketing, operations, finance and HR. • In consultation with the customers, I transformed the mission towards “Create Online Smart Cities” and aligned the solution portfolio with it.• Under my leadership, yearly revenue increased from 400k to 1.600k, staff from 6 to 22, customer base from 10 to 50 customers• Transformed the company from a project organisation towards a product organisation with separate implementation projects• Implementation agile scrum development processes and customer groups• Implementation project management based upon prince2• Streamlined Service Management containing all incidents with SLA reporting• Implementation financial reporting• Setting up nearshore java software development with Spain• Moving headquarters from Hasselt to Genk• Product ownership Mid Office and design• Partner Management Green Valley NL, Invenso, Arco, ACA, Continuum.

During my second stay at CIPAL I was responsible for mid- and front office solutions.

At RealDolmen (previously REAL) I was managing the BI, IM and ECM competence centres and took the opportunity for setting up the Project Management Office (PMO) for the Enterprise Solutions Division and the RealDolmen Way Programme.

At CIPAL I saw IT can add real business value to an organization. I worked with a team of motivated professionals where I grew into the function of Team Leader.

I started my career as teacher where I developed my didactical skills.
