Burned Wood is a production company for exclusive custom charred wood, the perfect choice for a durable facade or interior. Based on an ancient Japanese technique called shou sugi ban or yakisugi. My brother Thijs ter Denge and I, founded Burned Wood B.V. with the vision to enrich the construction world with durable and beautiful burnt wood products.

Mid 2018 I swifted my focus to the role of project leader/scrum master of the group wide Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation. In my role as Internal/QA Auditor I am responsible for maintaining the ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications for the group and its companies. I initiated a CSR team within Odin Groep and made the annual CSR report for the group. By the end of 2019 I transferred my CSR coordinator role.

In my function as Senior Internal Auditor At Koninklijke Grolsch / Asahi Europe Limited I report to the Internal Audit Manager, Finance Director and Group Head of Internal Audit. I am responsible for: • The yearly Audit plan and execution of audits in administrative departments (e.g. sales, finance, HR, IT, procurement); • Bi-annual reporting to the Audit Committee; • Coordination and improvement of the Internal Controls framework; • Business lead for replacement of the current Governance Risk and Compliance tool (SAP GRC) which is used for Access Management and Control and coordination of the Internal control framework; • Risk management.

IT Advisory Risk Consulting is: IT-audits; IT assurance (ISAE3402/3000); IT assessments; IT strategy; IT project advisory and Quality Assurance.
