Fully utilizing the potential of our master data platforms is imperative in enabling this journey.My role in this is threefold: I am the manager of the Masterdata team, I'm Product Owner of our 'Digital Product Highway' and I'm Product Owner of the 'Masterdata management Center of Excellence'.Our Digital Product Highway (DPH) is our repository for all our product related data. Think of all our actual machines we produce and all the millions of spare parts we offer to our customers. The DPH is in the middle, between our source systems (mostly Product Lifecycle Management systems) and our target systems (mostly ERP systems like SAP) and contains all masterdata.The 'Masterdata management Center of Excellence' (MDM CoE) is responsible for the setup and management of our masterdata in various systems to create a trusted view of shared, business-critical data. Within MDM CoE we also manage another big repository, containing all our partner data (customers and vendors) and we use TIBCO EBX for this. This repository is in the middle between Salesforce as our source system and SAP as our target system and is the place where we enrich and if needed correct our masterdata. -
