The goal of Marel's Data Management group is to enable access, usage, and analysis of data to run, improve and optimize decisions and performance of Marel, while in parallel driving our data innovation and transformation, towards becoming a data driven company. Fully utilizing the potential of our master data platforms is imperative in enabling this journey.My role in this is threefold: I am the manager of the Masterdata team, I'm Product Owner of our 'Digital Product Highway' and I'm Product Owner of the 'Masterdata management Center of Excellence'.Our Digital Product Highway (DPH) is our repository for all our product related data. Think of all our actual machines we produce and all the millions of spare parts we offer to our customers. The DPH is in the middle, between our source systems (mostly Product Lifecycle Management systems) and our target systems (mostly ERP systems like SAP) and contains all masterdata.The 'Masterdata management Center of Excellence' (MDM CoE) is responsible for the setup and management of our masterdata in various systems to create a trusted view of shared, business-critical data. Within MDM CoE we also manage another big repository, containing all our partner data (customers and vendors) and we use TIBCO EBX for this. This repository is in the middle between Salesforce as our source system and SAP as our target system and is the place where we enrich and if needed correct our masterdata.

Defining and setting up five different processes related to clinical data management; Data acquisition, data transfer, data storage, data annotation and data processing. Researchers now have better structured information, a quicker overview and better output for the AI algorithm.Managing and HR responsible for the Data team (7 people, Technical Data Managers, Subject Matter Experts and Data Assistants). I created synergy and better cooperation which resulted in higher productivity and happier people. Responsible for all contact and contracts with data providers worldwide. On average I ran around ten data gathering projects simultaneously. I also set up a partnering agreement with a new data source, to guarantee a continuous dataflow of new and valuable data.

Responsible for the delivery of all things related to IT Project Management, Application Management and Business Consultancy. Responsible for setting up and managing a multidisciplinary team (6 FTE).Communication bridge between the four daughter companies, the Board, several suppliers and my team.I also had a role as a business consultant to initiate and lead twelve projects based on process improvements. For instance the migration to and implementation of new software for all our Occupational Health & Safety (ARBO) related data. This allowed multiple of our companies to work in the same software, while optimising the process flow, document safety and improving the support we offered to all stakeholders.

Unhappy customers were facing recurring problems that weren’t solved permanently. I focussed on the root cause of these complex issues by asking the right questions. In a new and creative way I came to the right short and long term solution. The success of this approach resulted in a dedicated team for all customers worldwide.The focus was on the customer experience, the role of our internal organisation in that, and the improvement or implementation of processes to support this. Two big customers decided in the end not to leave us for another supplier, but actually became enthusiastic again.

Responsible for setting up and training new departments with a focus on ApplicationManagement and I was deployed at multiple international customers for long term application management and ad hoc crisis management.Coordinated the expansion of our department to our offices in Germany (Frankfurt), England (Brighton) and the United States (Seattle).Some customers that were in my portfolio: ENGIE, Bourne Leisure, Philips, Amazon, The European Central Bank and multiple British Universities.

Supporting Planon customers with their software regarding technical and functional issues.After my colleague from the UK fell sick, I became responsible for all UK customers and was able to raise customer satisfaction.

Scouting Jeanne d'Arc ('Joan of Arc') is a youth organization with 200 members, located in Halsteren (NL). As chairman and member of the board I'm responsible for recruiting and managing the 50 volunteers and organizing several activities. Besides that finances, PR and political questions are also part of my responsibility.

Deployed at two projects: Facilicom Fleet, our own car park and Telenet, a big telecom provider.At Facilicom Fleet I was responsible for managing the 600+ car fleet and all aspects that came with that.At Telenet I was responsible for the building management of 130 technical buildings. I managed a team of fifteen handymen spread all over the country, to guarantee swift response times within the set SLA.

In Karongwe Private Game Reserve (South Africa) I was responsible for the gathered data, mainly focusing on the 'Big Five' animals. Besides that I was also responsible for the wellbeing of 28 volunteers and other staff members.
