Foundation Lenteveld aims at initiating, developing and realizing differentiated building projects for and by youngsters. The youngsters are unemployed or looking for a practical training or internship to be able to proceed with their education. Through participation in real projects they get work experience, broaden their competences and network and this way enhance the possibility of getting a regular job. The projects are in the basis creative and sustainable, with special attention for enhancing the cooperation between education, government and business.

Performing a feasibility study and realization of project Lenteveld. This project was meant as pilot for research on how youth unemployment in de construction sector, in the region of Nijmegen, could be reduced. Finally this resulted in a sustainable watchtower in de Waalsprong, called LENTmark1, build by unemployed youngsters from Nijmegen.Briefly I performed all the tasks necessary to proceed from idea to concept and finally to realization of the project. Tasks: concept/project development, performing feasibility study, project and process management, FRS and design, budgeting, planning, fund raising, contract management, permits, marketing and communication, supporting youngsters, human resource management, workshops and presentations and remainder administration
