About Kofi Quaye

The need for good Accountants is at an all time high in light of the accounting scandals of the early 2000s. As an Accounting graduate from Temple University’s Fox School of Business, interested in Public Accounting, I have learned about the importance of the financial statements to a business. More importantly, I learned about the importance of accurate financial reporting practices and being transparent with investors. As an Accounting Assistant with AmeriGas Propane I played a small but pivotal role in helping AmeriGas Propane improve its financial statements. During my six months with AmeriGas Propane I helped the company reduce its Accounts Receivable days Outstanding 80 to 10 days outstanding. My goal right now is to find an Accounting position at a company where I can grow and take on new challenges over time. But most importantly, I want to work somewhere where I can build a career.
